Omair Hamid

Omair Hamid is currently the VP of Engineering - Product at Mark43. Prior to that, they were the Director of Professional Services at NewStore, Inc. from December 2018 to August 2020. Before that, they were the Director of Software Engineering at Tulip Retail from November 2013 to December 2018.

Omair has extensive experience in leading teams to develop and deploy high-quality software platforms. Omair has a proven track record in managing team leads and coordinating development activities between functional groups. Omair's experience in the retail industry has helped him develop a deep understanding of the needs of retail customers and how to best provide them with next-generation commerce solutions.

Omair Hamid attended the University of Waterloo, where they earned a Bachelors of Applied Science in computer engineering.

They work with Ganesha Martin - VP, Community Affairs & Public Policy, Susanna Conneen - Senior Director of Marketing, and Steve Hoffman - VP, People, Operations. Their manager is Scott Crouch, Co-Founder & CEO.
