Andy Wong

Andy Wong is an experienced professional in actuarial and capital modelling, currently serving as the Global Manager of Capital Architecture at Markel since November 2022. Prior to this role, Andy held various positions at Willis Towers Watson from October 2016 to November 2022, including Deputy Technical Product Leader and Manager. Andy's career began at Enstar Group, LTD as a Capital Actuary and included notable positions at Chaucer Syndicates Ltd, focusing on capital modelling. Previous experience includes working as an Actuarial Consultant at EMB Consultancy LLP, where a specialization in capital modelling for insurance companies was emphasized, as well as leading software design and implementation efforts as a Senior Engineer at Azuro. Andy holds multiple degrees from the University of Cambridge, including an MPhil in Advanced Chemical Engineering Practice and an MEng in Chemical Engineering.
