Maggie Fok has worked in a variety of roles in the digital industry since 2006. Maggie began their career at WDG as a Front End Developer, where they were responsible for front end web development and the creation of advertising materials. In 2007, they moved to The First Post as a Web Design Lead, where they were responsible for project managing the web creativity activities of the Technology team and assisting with the development of a custom CMS system. Maggie then moved to Sapient as an Interactive Developer, where they were responsible for leading teams of Interactive Developers and developing prototypes. In 2008, they took on two short-term contracts as an Intranet Developer at both Boeing and Australian Aerospace. In 2009, they joined Avalde Digital as a Producer, where they were responsible for transcribing client needs and managing a team of developers. Maggie then moved to Brisbane North Institute of TAFE as an Instructional Multimedia Developer, where they provided assistance and suggestions to teachers and e-champions. Finally, in 2011, they joined Effectal Media as General Manager, where they were responsible for overseeing all day to day operations and providing clients with digital, social and search strategies. In 2012, they moved to Marker Seven as VP Client Services and Project Manager.
Maggie Fok attended Stuartholme before enrolling at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2000. Maggie studied Design and Visual Communications, General as part of both their Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Creative Industries degrees. Maggie graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Creative Industries degree.
