Sherin Thomas

Sherin Thomas has over a decade of work experience in various roles in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Sherin currently holds the position of Quality Control Director at Marker Therapeutics, Inc. Sherin previously served as the Quality Control Associate Director and Quality Control Manager at the same company. Prior to that, they worked as a QC Analyst Lead at Lonza. Sherin has also worked as a QC Specialist III at Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and as a Process Development Scientist at Mesoblast Limited. Their earlier experience includes roles as Research Associate I at Ensysce Biosciences and Teaching Assistant at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Sherin also served as a Health Care Specialist in the US Army. Throughout their career, Sherin has gained expertise in quality control, process development, and research.

Sherin Thomas obtained a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from ICFAI University from 2005-2009. Sherin has also obtained several additional certifications in different areas, including Air and Surface Sampling Competency from PharmaMicro Assurance, Regulatory Affairs Certification from Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS), Lean Six Sigma Professional from Management and Strategy Institute, and Specialist in Cytometry, SCYM(ASCP) from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in 2017.
