Darren Boland

Darren Boland is the Group Chief Risk Officer at Markerstudy Insurance since September 2022, previously serving as the Chief Risk Officer at esure Group from February 2013 to September 2022, where key contributions included establishing a comprehensive risk and compliance function. Prior to esure, Darren held the position of Head of Insurance Risk Management at Aspen Re from June 2010 to February 2013, leading a global Insurance Risk team and enhancing risk management practices. Darren began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager in the Actuarial team's Risk Management division, focusing on major projects and client management from September 1998 to June 2010. Darren Boland holds a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College London, earned between 1995 and 1998.
