Liliana Camara

Liliana Camara has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Liliana currently holds the position of Global Training Manager at Market America, Inc., where they identify training needs, designs and implements training programs, and enhances existing programs for better engagement and retention. Previously, Liliana co-founded and co-owned SpanishSpeaking, LLC, providing customized Spanish lessons and cultural awareness training. Liliana also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Guilford Technical Community College, where they planned, designed, and delivered the Medical Interpreter course. At Market America, Inc., Liliana served as a Global Training Manager and Global Trainer, collaborating with management to strategically plan and deliver various trainings, streamlining the training process, and improving productivity of new Account Representatives. Liliana also worked as an Instructor at Forsyth Technical Community College and as a Hispanic Outreach Coordinator at the United States Tennis Association. Additionally, Liliana worked as a Tutor of Statistics and Cognitive Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and as a Marketing Manager at Latino Communications, where they developed marketing strategies and trained new employees.

Liliana Camara has a Master of Arts degree in Spanish, with a specialization in Translating and Translation Studies, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Their undergraduate studies were completed at Universidad de Caldas, where they obtained a BA in Modern Languages with a focus on English and Spanish.
