Brandon Pemberton

For over 20 years, Brandon has advised and operated branded consumer and retail businesses. He brings expertise developing strategy around an understanding of consumer needs and building operations to deliver results against those strategies. He offers a hands-on operating perspective and empathy when leading teams and other executives through the development and execution of strategy to deliver on the promise of a brand.

Prior to joining Market Defense, Brandon was a principal in the strategy practice of a management consulting firm where he advised leading consumer brand and retail companies on digital customer experience, organizational alignment around data and the digital customer, and operational execution of new strategies. In this role, he developed an operational framework for innovation and test & learn which he deployed with his clients for new product development, new store concepts and new customer experience creation.

In addition to holding operating leadership roles in product development, marketing, sales, merchandising and operations, Brandon previously led the branded consumer practice of a middle-market investment bank, where he advised shareholders and private equity firms on transactions in the branded consumer products sector. He has expertise in apparel, housewares, personal care, juvenile products and beverage.

Brandon is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Cornell University and lives with his family in Seattle.
