Markus Lloyd

Markus Lloyd has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Markus currently holds the position of Head of Market Improvement at Market Operator Services Limited (MOSL), a role they have been in since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Market Performance and Operations at MOSL from September 2019 to February 2021.

Before joining MOSL, Markus worked at Telefonica for a significant period. Their roles at Telefonica include serving as the Head of Sales Operations for Business Sales, where they managed various aspects such as Salesforce platform transition, Einstein Analytics implementation, compliance, risk management, quality assurance, and business continuity. Markus was also responsible for automation projects for retail stores supply chain and indirect partner channel service management, as well as vendor relationship management and data management. Markus also held the position of Head of SalesForce and CRM, where they utilized SalesForce data to predict outcomes and implement strategies to meet targets. Markus worked closely with the Marketing team to formulate campaigns based on customer insights captured on SalesForce. Additionally, they served as the Head of Automation and Business Processes, overseeing the development of automation software, Business Continuity systems, and customer engagement software. During their tenure, they also delivered training and managed pay plans and incentives for different business channels. Markus started their journey at Telefonica as the Risk, Continuity, and Quality Assurance Manager, and later served as the Sales Operations Development Manager, focusing on process improvement and the implementation of SalesForce.

Prior to their time at Telefonica, Markus worked as a Production Manager at Cable & Wireless Communications. Markus also has a background in the military, having served as a Major in HM Forces.

Markus Lloyd attended Clayesmore School from 1980 to 1985. Markus then enrolled in the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 1986 for a Short Service Limited Commission, completing the program the same year. In 1987, Markus returned to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for a Regular Commission, concluding their education at this institution in 1988.
