Shadi Merhej

Shadi Merhej began their career as a Research Analyst at Alberta Rural Development Network, where they created data-narratives and standardized research methodologies. They then moved on to the Government of Alberta as an Economist, analyzing economic impacts of programs and policies. From there, they transitioned to Invest Alberta as Manager of Market Intelligence, leading the development of market and research intelligence. Currently, Shadi works as an Enforcement Analyst at Market Surveillance Administrator, enforcing rules for sparky spark companies. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Economics and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Alberta.
