Carla Gomes

Carla Gomes has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on fixed-income sales and distribution. Carla is currently working as a Senior Sales Relationship Manager at MarketAxess, where they manage client relationships and facilitates efficient trading of fixed-income instruments. Prior to this, Carla worked as a Client Relationship Manager at MarketAxess from 2015 to 2022.

Before joining MarketAxess, Carla held the role of Sales & Distribution Manager at Banco Fator, where they sold local structured products and sourced funding for the bank through various financial instruments. Carla also worked as a Director at Heritage Capital do Brasil, where they were responsible for the international fixed-income sales and distribution desk, selling offshore products to investors abroad and trading fixed-income securities.

Carla's career also includes a role as a Director at Banco Finantia, where they were responsible for international fixed-income sales and trading securities issued in capital markets abroad. Before that, they worked as a Sales Manager at Eurovest Global Securities, where they were involved in the sale of securities issued in the international market and debt/security restructuring. Carla also had an earlier role as an Asset Trader at Multiplic Bank International, where they focused on sourcing and placing institutional funds in the international market.

Throughout their career, Carla has demonstrated expertise in building and managing relationships with institutional investors and broker-dealer firms. Carla has experience negotiating with investment banks, commercial banks, private banks, fixed-income funds, and other broker-dealers both in Brazil and abroad. Additionally, they have traveled extensively for business trips and roadshow presentations. Carla Gomes completed their undergraduate education from 1993 to 1997 at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Carla earned a degree in Economics during this period. In 2017, Carla enrolled at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and completed their technician program in Gastronomy in 2019. Additionally, they obtained the CPA-20 certification from ANBIMA in December 2013.
