Danny Daglas started their work experience in 1994 as an Application Developer at Citi, where they developed applications for booking and pricing derivatives products. Danny was also responsible for after-hours batch job processing and reporting, and developed a risk-based stress test for derivatives products.
In 2000, Daglas joined SIAC/The American Stock Exchange as a Director, leading the development and deployment of the index calculation system. The project survived multiple company acquisitions and take-overs, offering highly-reliable and fault-tolerant index calculation and dissemination.
From 2007 to 2011, Daglas worked at Goldman Sachs as a Front Office Application Developer, providing support for the credit desk and developing a global application to notify management of large exposures in volatile credit markets.
At OTC Markets Group from 2011 to 2013, Daglas served as a Tech Lead, developing custom software and leading the analysis and project work to replace the trade management system.
From 2013 to 2014, Daglas worked as a Software Developer at NYSE, followed by a role as a Software Developer at Ullink from 2014 to 2016, where they were a technical leader and developer of ULAppia, a widely-used Core Java FIX engine.
From 2016 to 2018, Daglas worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Vice President and Senior product developer for the IOI dissemination system. Danny strengthened the system's infrastructure and developed scripts to eliminate operator errors during releases.
From 2018 to 2021, Daglas was a Senior Software Developer at Wells Fargo, where they were responsible for implementing collateral segregation for FINRA 4210 regulation.
Currently, Daglas is a Senior Software Engineer at MarketAxess, starting in November 2021.
Danny Daglas completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1989 and 1993. Following this, in 2005, they obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science from New York University.
