Jon McTernan

Jon McTernan has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jon currently serves as the Head of Commercial Development, Post Trade at MarketAxess since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at UBS for over 20 years in various roles and leadership positions. Some of their notable roles at UBS include Global Head of Derivative & Solutions Operations, Managing Director, Global Head of FX, Rates, & Credit Operations, Managing Director, EMEA Head of Investment Bank Operations, Managing Director, and UK Head of Securities, Collateral, & Derivative Operations, Executive Director. Jon also held positions such as Global Head of Interest Rates Middle Office, Executive Director, UK Head of Interest Rates Middle Office, Director, EMEA Head of Interest Rate Confirmations, Associate Director, UK Head of Credit Derivative Confirmations, Associate Director, and participated in the FX Operations - Graduate Training Program.

Jon McTernan attended the University of Nottingham from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics.
