Julie Sheffet

Julie Sheffet joined MarketAxess in January 2021 as the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Prior to joining MarketAxess, Ms. Sheffet worked at TD Ameritrade as the Managing Director of Total Rewards and HR Shared Services, as well as the lead HR Business Partner for several business units including Technology, Operations, Marketing, Communications and Enterprise Strategy. During her 12 years at TD Ameritrade, Ms. Sheffet redesigned, scaled and continually advanced many company-wide Human Resources functions, including Total Rewards, Organizational Design and HR Shared Services,

Prior to TD Ameritrade, Ms. Sheffet was a Principal at Johnson Associates where she was a lead executive compensation consultant for several Fortune 500 clients, with a concentration in financial services. Her responsibilities included advising executives and Boards on the philosophy and design of their compensation programs, including for IPOs, M&As and cultural transformations.

Throughout her career of over 25 years in Human Resources, Ms. Sheffet has also held management positions at Merrill Lynch and American Express.

Ms. Sheffet received her BA from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University.
