Niteen Sharma

Niteen Sharma has extensive work experience in compliance and regulatory roles within the financial industry. Niteen began their career as a Trading Floor Manager at S&W Futures, where they worked from 1993 to 1999. Niteen then joined Tradelink Worldwide as the Head of Operations & Compliance, a position they held from 1999 to 2004. Sharma then served as the Chief Operating Officer at Sequoia Capital LLP in 2004. In 2005, they joined EuroMTS as the Head of Compliance for the European bond market. From 2007 to 2011, Sharma worked at IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. as the Head of Regulation and Compliance for Europe and APAC, responsible for regulatory liaison and compliance oversight. Niteen then moved on to Newedge, where they served as the Senior Director, Deputy Head of Compliance & FCP from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2015, Sharma was the Head of Compliance, EMEA at GFI Group. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Compliance and MLRO, Europe & Asia at MarketAxess, where they have been working since 2015.

Niteen Sharma attended Forest School from 1978 to 1989. Niteen then pursued a degree in History at the University of Hull from 1989 to 1992. No further information is available regarding their education after this period.
