Tejeshwar Gurram

Tejeshwar Gurram has a diverse work experience in various roles. Tejeshwar is currently working at MarketAxess as a DevOps Technical Lead since October 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Capital One from July 2015 to October 2019 as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they developed APIs, built classification models, and utilized NLP techniques for text analysis. Tejeshwar also worked at Oklahoma State University as a Research Assistant from August 2014 to May 2015, where they helped create course content and worked on a project predicting stock prices based on Twitter feed. Before that, they had a Summer Design Internship at First Preston Management in 2014, where they worked on marketing analytics and developed a proof-of-concept for implementing an API. Tejeshwar started their career as an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from July 2011 to July 2013, where they worked as a J2EE Developer and was involved in a migration project for Verizon.

Tejeshwar Gurram completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering from 2007 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems with a specialization in Data Analytics from Oklahoma State University from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Tejeshwar Gurram obtained several certifications, including Machine Learning: Regression by University of Washington on Coursera, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon, Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach, SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9, SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst, and Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer.
