Yuan Ren (Forest)

Yuan "Forest" Ren, CFA has a diverse range of work experiences. Yuan "Forest" started their career at Deutsche Bank as a Summer Analyst in the Global Markets Department. Yuan "Forest" then worked as a Summer Analyst of the Securities Research Department at Fullgoal Fund Management, where they conducted equity industrial analysis and delivered investment analysis presentations.

Yuan also gained experience as a Community Desk Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Yuan "Forest" then joined Tulane University as an Investment Analyst, co-managing the Darwin Fenner Fund and developing a proprietary investment model. At Tulane, they also worked as an Equity Research Analyst, covering Energy XXI and performing in-depth research analysis. In addition, they served as a Business Modeling Teaching Assistant, assisting with teaching business modeling and providing tutoring sessions.

Yuan further expanded their skill set as a Commodities Trading Analyst at TechMotion Capital, where they drafted and optimized trading strategies for futures contracts. Yuan "Forest" also worked as an FX Algorithmic Trading Analyst at Chenjiahui Investment, creating and testing trend-following trading strategies.

More recently, Yuan joined SinoPac Securities (Asia) Limited as a Credit Sales professional, selling China credits to institutional investors and facilitating bond trades. Currently, they work at MarketAxess as a Client Services Associate, focusing on delivering excellent client services to investors and dealers in the APAC region. Yuan "Forest" is involved in various tasks such as onboarding new clients, troubleshooting connectivity issues, building relationships with clients, and automating reports using various tools.

Yuan "Forest" Ren, CFA, obtained a Master's Degree in Finance with an Energy Specialization from Tulane University in the year 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance from the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2013. Yuan also pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Nanjing Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2011.

Before their college education, Yuan attended Nanjing No.9 Middle School from 2002 to 2008. Furthermore, they completed their primary education at Sujie School.

In terms of certifications, Yuan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, having obtained this credential from the CFA Institute in September 2019. In addition, they possess a certification in Bloomberg Equity, Fixed Income, Commodities, and FX Essentials from Bloomberg in September 2013. Lastly, Yuan received an Autodesk Certified Autodesk Professional certification from Autodesk in December 2010.
