Arey Jhang

Arey Jhang, CPA has a diverse work experience starting from 2011 as an Analyst of Financial Planning and Analysis (Intern) at Novozymes. From 2013 to 2018, Arey worked at Bauknight Pietras & Stormer, P.A. in various roles including Staff, Advanced Staff, Senior Auditor, Supervisor, and Audit Manager. During this time, Arey was responsible for managing assurance engagements for clients in telecommunications, manufacturing, and insurance industries. In 2018, Arey joined PwC as a Senior Associate, where they played a key role in managing annual financial statement audits and reviewing clients' quarterly filings with SEC. Arey then worked at Rather Outdoors from 2019 to 2021 as an Assistant Controller, overseeing daily accounting transactions, managing external audits, and preparing consolidated financial statements. In 2021, Arey joined Stream Companies as a Controller, and in 2022, they transitioned to their current role as SVP Finance at MarketCast.

Arey Jhang, CPA has a strong educational background in the field of business and finance. Starting with a Bachelor's degree in Financial Law from National Taiwan University in 2006, Arey then pursued a Master's degree in Accountancy from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business from 2010 to 2012. Continuing to enhance their knowledge and skills, Arey is currently enrolled in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Analytics & Merger and Acquisition from 2020 to 2023. Alongside their formal education, Arey has also obtained various certifications, including a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation in 2014, and participation in specialized courses such as "Business Analytics Specialization" from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2022. Additionally, Arey has completed several online courses on topics such as marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and data analysis from platforms like Coursera. In 2017, Arey was selected as a graduate of the AICPA Leadership Academy.
