David Perez

David Perez is a powerful trifecta of research, digital, and PR used in combination to propel client campaigns to the next level. An expert in content marketing, he has garnered earned media coverage for finance, crypto, non–profit and consumer technology companies, cyber security, and expert thought leaders at conferences and events. Previously, he worked at another agency where he managed the international personal technology company Lenovo. He was responsible for the North American digital strategy, including building organic and paid social and digital campaigns, creating social media content calendars, drafting website copy, and managing LinkedIn advertising campaigns. Prior to that, he worked for a nonprofit as a public relations manager and was tasked with building partnerships with Telemundo, LA Times, and NBC4. He also was responsible for securing multi–million–dollar grants through success stories.

At Marketing Maven, David is responsible for managing all departments, developing overarching marketing strategies for campaigns, tracking campaign metrics and ROI, coaching and guiding team members, and supporting the implementation of the strategic objectives in all facets. An expert in content marketing, he has garnered earned media coverage for finance, crypto, non–profit and consumer technology companies, cyber security, and expert thought leaders at conferences and events. Believing that campaigns do not end with earned press coverage, David develops content to grow a brand’s digital footprint far beyond its initial start.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, David has helped create campaigns built around public relations and social strategies in both languages, excelling client placements, and increasing SEO. He has written for Spanish-language newspapers and has appeared as a spokesperson within Latino broadcast media. Additionally, David has developed successful marketing campaigns for nonprofits across the nation, facilitating support fundraising campaigns and development projects. David holds multiple degrees from California State University and will soon be an adjunct professor at a Los Angeles–based university.
