Nick S.

Nick S. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in the financial industry. Nick started their career as a Currency & Bond Analyst at Thomson IFR Markets in 1993. After working there for four years, they moved on to ANZ Investment Bank, where they served as a G10 Currency & Bond Strategist from 1997 to 2000. Following that, they joined Norinchukin International Bank as a Bond Strategist for a short period from 2000 to 2001. Nick then transitioned to MNI - Market News, where they held various roles for over 17 years. Nick started as a Fixed Income Analyst in 2001 and gradually progressed to positions such as Manager - Fixed Income and FX (Europe), Global Head of Markets, and Global Co-Managing Editor. In their most recent role as the Head of Editorial Operations, which they took on in 2018, they were responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the editorial business and spearheading new product development, managing global editorial teams and strategic alliances with distribution partners.

Nick S. has an educational background in the field of finance and economics. Nick obtained an MSc in International Banking & Finance from the University of Southampton. Prior to that, they had completed a BSc in Economics from the same university. In addition to their degrees, Nick S. has also obtained certifications throughout their career. In 1994, they became a Certified Financial Technical (CFTe) and a Member of the Society Of Technical Analysts (MSTA) through the Society Of Technical Analysts Limited.
