Nova Safo

Nova Safo is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in multimedia storytelling, business reporting, and podcast production. Currently serving as a correspondent at Marketplace by APM since April 2020, Nova covers business and economy stories. Previously, as co-founder and executive producer of The Vox Pop Collective, Nova helped lead a successful podcasting venture. Nova has also worked as a news correspondent for AFP, managing coverage across a 16-state region, and at CNN, where a new bureau was established. Additional experience includes business reporting for American Public Media Group and freelance reporting for various outlets including NPR and Colorado Public Radio. Nova holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California and a diploma in Music from LACHSA.
