Ken Cheung

Ken Cheung has extensive experience in library management and education, currently serving as Branch Manager for multiple branches at Markham Public Library since January 2013. Responsibilities include staff performance evaluation, administrative duties, and maintaining branch operations. Previously, Ken held the role of Branch Librarian and Sunday Supervisor, where literacy promotion and customer support were key focuses. Ken's earlier experience includes positions as a Teacher Librarian and Teacher within the TDSB, emphasizing literacy and research skills. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, a Bachelor of Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education, all obtained from the University of Toronto.
