Lorinda Lee is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Oak Valley Health. Lorinda has been in the Hospital sector since 2013 as a seasoned senior HR leader at the University Health Network and Humber River Hospital. Prior to that she held various progressive HR and related leadership roles in the Ontario Public Service including the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care; manufacturing, technology, and education sectors. Lorinda brings to the organization over 25 years of extensive experience in human resources: including employee and labour relations, HRIS, compensation and benefits, investigations, human rights, change management, performance management and measurement, engagement and organizational effectiveness, occupational health and safety, talent management and development, as well as coaching and mentoring.
Lorinda held a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Bachelor’s degree in Adult education, training and development, Master’s in inter-cultural communications, and CHRL designation. She completed her Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Science, Leadership and Organizational Change in 2017. Lorinda is always looking for ways to improve herself and organizational systems. She is passionate about supporting people to develop and grow, and about how the values of broader HR services and advising can positively contribute to high reliability, and patients and families outcomes.
