Rajitha Ponweera

Rajitha Ponweera has over 25 years of experience in the garment and textile industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of Product Technology & Quality at Marks and Spencer since January 2016, following previous roles including Senior Garment Manager and Garment Manager. Prior to this, Rajitha held the position of Manager Technical & Quality at Norlanka Manufacturing Limited and Manager Technical & Quality at Brandix. Early career milestones include working as a Garment Technologist at Marks and Spencer, a Quality Executive at Brandix, and a Production Supervisor at Hemas Garments, alongside an initial role as a Management Trainee at Star Garments Group. Rajitha received education at St Peter's College in Colombo from 1985 to 1998.
