Peter Harter

Peter Harter is a Co Founder at Markup since January 2016. Peter is also a Member Board Of Directors at Open Source Election Technology Institute since 2007. In addition, Peter is the Founder of The Farrington Group since 2003, where Peter advises public and private companies, investors, startups, and nonprofits on risk and relationship identification. Earlier in their career, Peter held roles such as VP Public Affairs at Intellectual Ventures, VP Business Development at Securify, VP Standards & Public Policy at eMusic, and Global Public Policy Counsel at Netscape. Peter holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Internet Law and Environmental Law from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, and a Bachelor’s Degree in American Government and Classical Rhetoric from Lehigh University.
