Nathan Sweeney

Nathan Sweeney has extensive work experience in the investment management industry. Nathan is currently serving as the Chief Investment Officer at The Marlborough Group since April 2023. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Deputy CIO - Multi Asset at the same company since October 2021.

Before joining The Marlborough Group, Nathan was a Senior Investment Manager at Liontrust Asset Management PLC from November 2020 to June 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Investment Manager at Architas for a significant period from April 2010 to October 2020.

Nathan's career in investment management started at AIB Investment Managers, where they worked as a Senior Fund Manager from December 2000 to May 2007. Following this, they joined Cazenove Capital Management as a Senior Fund Manager from June 2007 to March 2010, where they played a key role in reconfiguring the investment process and managing client portfolios.

Nathan Sweeney completed a Diploma in Financial Services at Dublin Business School from 2004 to 2005. Before that, they also attended Dublin Business School from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Diploma in Mutual Funds. Nathan's earlier education includes studying at the University of Galway from 1998 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Recently, they also obtained a Certificate in ESG Investing from CFA UK in August 2021.
