Michelle Wexler

Director, Adaptations at Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan

Michelle Wexler, LMSW, currently serves as the Adaptations Director at the Jack and Shirley Silver Center for Special Needs at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, a role held since September 2016, where 25-35 monthly accessible programs are designed for 200 neurodivergent members. Michelle has extensive experience in social work, program development, and team supervision, having previously held roles including Teen Director and Tween Director at the same center and the Bert and Sandra Wasserman Center for Family Life. Michelle's expertise encompasses curriculum development, community partnership building, and crisis management, supported by a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree from Brandeis University. Notable previous involvements include managing large-scale service events, providing counseling in educational settings, and interning for various organizations focusing on child welfare and social justice.
