Christina Homburg

Christina Homburg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Christina started their career at the Children's Workforce Development Council as a Project Assistant, where they managed projects related to reforming recruitment and training practices. Christina then joined Asda, where they held multiple roles such as IT Project Coordinator, IT Project Manager, Commercial Manager, and Head of Travel Money and Cash Services. In these positions, Christina was responsible for developing and delivering business strategies, managing budgets, and overseeing project implementation. Christina also worked at the HolidayPirates Group as a Finance Manager (Controlling) before joining Marley Spoon, where they served as the EU Finance Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Currently, Christina is the Head of Growth for the US business at Marley Spoon, where they lead the growth department and is involved in key responsibilities such as topline governance, media spend management, and pricing governance.

Christina Homburg holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from the University of Leeds. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In January 2016, they received the "ACCA - diploma in accountancy" from ACCA. Later, in April 2011, they obtained the "Prince 2 Foundation and Practitioner" certification from The Knowledge Academy. Most recently, in July 2020, they completed the "CFA Investment Foundations" certification from CFA Institute and became a Chartered Accountant through ACCA.
