Mariana Sequeira

Mariana Sequeira began their work experience as a Master Thesis Student at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular in 2017, where they focused on understanding how parasites adapt to the host environment through proteomics research. Mariana then continued their work at the institute as a Bioinformatician in 2018, contributing to multiple research projects and mentoring a student during a 7-month internship. In 2019, Mariana joined Celfocus as a Data Engineer before transitioning to their current role as a Data Engineer at Marley Spoon in 2022.

Mariana Sequeira completed their education at two different institutions. From 2012 to 2017, they attended Instituto Superior Técnico and obtained a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. In 2016, they briefly studied at Politecnico di Milano, focusing on Engenharia Biomédica. In addition to their formal education, Mariana Sequeira obtained a certification as a Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer from Google Cloud in March 2022.
