Saravana S. has diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Saravana is the Founder of MARLO Technologies, a software as a service company that provides innovative solutions for shipping companies. In this role, Saravana leads a global B2B lending marketplace for the maritime industry, connecting prequalified ship owners and operators with financial institutions worldwide.

Prior to founding MARLO Technologies, Saravana worked as a Strategic Advisor for New Ventures and Startups. Saravana utilized their expertise in the maritime industry to identify problems and provide guidance to startups developing creative solutions. Saravana also sought feedback from venture capitalists, investors, and successful tech entrepreneurs to further refine new venture ideas.

Before entering the startup scene, Saravana served as the Chief Executive Officer of Siva Shipping Singapore Pte Limited. Saravana oversaw the expansion of the company into new sectors such as gas carriers and offshore support vessels. Saravana successfully raised capital for financing new ship acquisitions and sale-leasebacks. Additionally, they held positions on various boards and management committees, including Nordic Tankers, a product tanker company listed in Copenhagen.

Earlier in their career, Saravana worked as a Director for J.B. Ugland Shipping AS. Saravana held this position from February 2008 to July 2011.
