Anthony Skinner

Anthony Skinner is an experienced professional in political risk consulting, currently serving as Director of Research at Marlow Global since July 2023, where responsibilities include leading consulting projects related to political and ESG risk in sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa, and Asia. Prior to this, Anthony was a Political Risk Consultant at Marlow Global and Verisk Maplecroft, with a focus on the mining sector. A significant tenure at Verisk Maplecroft from 2011 to 2021 involved positions as Director for the Middle East and North Africa and Head of Political Strategy, where Anthony contributed to the consultancy's reputation and developed key political risk content. Earlier career roles included Analyst, writer, and editor at AMRS, as well as Senior Editor and Editor at Oxford Business Group. Anthony holds an MSc in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science and an MA (Hons) in Politics from The University of Edinburgh.
