Brenton Pennicooke, MD, MS, FAANS, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Biomedical Engineering at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis since June 2020. In addition, Brenton has been an Advisor for Maroon Invest Global since March 2023 and an Investment Advisor for LAUXERA CAPITAL PARTNERS since January 2020. Prior roles include Clinical Instructor/Fellow in Complex Spinal Reconstruction and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Cornell Tech, where expertise in applied machine learning was developed. Extensive training was completed during a Neurosurgery Residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medicine, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from June 2012 to June 2019. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University.
