Derek Faulkner

Derek Faulkner has extensive work experience in contracts, compliance, and program management. Derek currently works as Vice President of Contracts and Compliance at Marotta Controls since May 2021. Previously, Derek worked at Johnson Controls for over 25 years, holding various positions such as Director of Programs, Contracts, and FSO, Director of Contract Management, Navy Systems, Director of Invoice Accounting, Credit & Collection, and Manager of Contract Approval. Derek also has military experience as a German Army Liaison for the US Army. Overall, Derek has demonstrated expertise in contract negotiations, compliance enforcement, team management, and strategic policy development.

Derek Faulkner earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Top Secret Security from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) in October 2018.
