Basanagouda Shankaragouda Patil

Basanagouda Shankaragouda Patil has extensive experience in application management and engineering within the machine tool and automation sectors. Currently serving as the SOLARIUS Application Manager and 3C Technical Specialist at Marposs since December 2009, Patil oversees applications for machine tool probing and monitoring solutions, following two years as an Application Specialist for these technologies. Previous roles include an Application Engineer position at Solarius focusing on precision systems for non-contact surface inspection, as well as engineering positions at Biesse Group and Bharat Fritz Werner Ltd. Educationally, Patil holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Coventry University and a Diploma in Mechatronics from NTTF.
