Chirag Patel

Chirag Patel is the current Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Marqeta. Chirag has previous experience working as a Senior Finance Manager at Google from December 2007 to May 2010, where they were responsible for product management, search engineering, marketing, and global communications and public affairs. In October 2019, they became the Vice President of Global Financial Planning and Analysis at Blackhawk Network, where they are responsible for leading FP&A for a $2B revenue company with global operations, driving company transformation through implementation of new financial systems, rebuilding of personnel talent, and revamp of existing processes. Prior to their current positions, Chirag Patel served as the Director of Marketing Finance at Starwood Hotels & Resorts from October 2006 to December 2007 and the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Virgin America from May 2010 to December 2016. Chirag began their finance career as a Senior Finance Associate at Delta Air Lines from August 2005 to May 2006.

Chirag Patel has a MBA in Finance & Strategy from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business and a BS in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
