Christine Paster

Christine Paster is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Assistant General Counsel in Corporate Legal at Marqeta since September 2020. Prior to this role, Christine held various positions at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, including Corporate Associate from September 2017 to September 2020, and served as a Summer Associate in 2016. Additional experience includes a Legal Associate Internship at Salesforce in 2015. Christine obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) with a specialization in Business Law and Policy from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Global Studies and Political Science from UCLA, completed in 2013. Christine also studied Political Science and Government with a focus on Legal Studies at Maastricht University in 2011.
