Nahal Noori

Nahal Noori is a Senior Counsel at Marqeta, specializing in Privacy & Security, Corporate, and Commercial law since November 2019. In the role of Senior Counsel for Privacy & Security, responsibilities include providing guidance on privacy-by-design, data governance, and compliance with global privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. Previous positions at Marqeta involved corporate compliance, including the preparation of regulatory filings and drafting complex commercial agreements essential to the company’s payment processing operations. Earlier experiences include serving as a Corporate Associate at Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bentley, and Synergy Law Group, focusing on technology transfer and M&A agreements. Legal training includes clerkship positions at Champaign County Sixth Circuit Court and the National Labor Relations Board. Nahal Noori holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and International Relations from the University of California, Davis.
