Vishal Chandrasekaran

Vishal Chandrasekaran is a Staff Data Scientist at Marqeta since March 2022 and serves as President of the Intercontinental Toastmasters since June 2023. Previously, Vishal held multiple roles at Capital One from August 2018 to March 2022, including Principal Data Scientist, Principal Data Analyst, and Senior Data Analyst. Additional experience includes a stint as a Data Analyst and Associate Data Analyst at Comscore, Inc. from March 2017 to August 2018, and an internship at AT&T in 2016. Vishal began a research internship at Amrita University from July 2013 to January 2015, contributing to a project on indoor localization algorithms. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (2011-2015). Early education was completed at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School in Chennai.
