Brian Dorrington

Brian Dorrington is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in advancement communication and public relations. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President for Advancement Communication at Marquette University since December 2011, Brian previously held the position of Sr. Director of University Communication. Prior to Marquette, Brian was the Director of Communications at Alverno College, where responsibilities included managing a team of six and overseeing comprehensive public relations, marketing, and media initiatives. Brian's career began at Froedtert Hospital as a Media Relations Specialist, collaborating with various reporters to promote medical breakthroughs. Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations from the University of St. Thomas between 1996 and 2000.
