TonjaMarie Adams

TonjaMarie Adams has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. TonjaMarie began their career as a Database Administrator at Aetna Life Insurance Co in 1989 and later worked as a DB2 Database Administrator at MCI Systemhouse from 1991 to 1996. Adams then joined Sybase Software as a Senior Consultant and Team Leader from 1996 to 1999. TonjaMarie continued to gain experience as a Technical Consultant at Covansys from 1999 to 2000.

In 2001, Adams became a Senior Data Architect at the Port of Portland and worked there until 2006. TonjaMarie then joined the City of Portland as an Associate Business Analyst from 2006 to 2008. Adams further expanded their skill set by working as a Senior BI Software Developer, Data Architect, and Data Quality Analyst at PEMCO from 2008 to 2016.

In 2018, Adams ventured into language services and worked as a German Translator/Revisor Intern at Peschel Communications GmbH from January to April before becoming a German Translator at German Language Services from November 2018 to October 2021.

Most recently, Adams held the position of Senior Business Analyst at Marquis Data from February 2023, with their employment ongoing. Through their various roles, Adams has developed expertise in data management, business analysis, language translation, and software development.

TonjaMarie Adams attended the University of Virginia from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Commerce/Management Information Systems. In 2006 to 2007, they attended Portland State University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in German Language and Literature.

In addition to their formal education, TonjaMarie has obtained several certifications. In 2007, they achieved the Goethe-Zertifikat C1 from the Goethe-Institut e.V. and in 2013, they obtained the Goethe-Zertifikat B2 Business German from the same institution. Most recently, in February 2023, they completed the SQL for Exploratory Data Analysis Essential Training from LinkedIn.
