Alec Davis is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in environmental law and regulation. Currently serving as General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel at Marquis Inc since September 2022, Alec previously held the position of Executive Director at the Illinois Environmental Regulatory Group from March 2015 to August 2022. Earlier roles include serving as an Attorney at the Illinois Farm Bureau and General Counsel at the Illinois Environmental Regulatory Group. Alec began a career in legal support as a Research Assistant at the Illinois State Geological Survey. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree obtained from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
