Petia T. is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in driving growth and innovation across various sectors. As the Director of Momentum at MaRS Discovery District since March 2020, Petia has successfully led a scale-stage program, facilitating significant revenue growth for companies and enhancing client engagement. Prior roles include Director of Health Ecosystem Development, where Petia built influential networks and promoted health innovation, as well as Senior Manager of Partnership Development in FinTech, focusing on digital platforms to connect tech ventures with corporates. Prior to MaRS, Petia served as a Trade Commissioner at Global Affairs Canada, supporting AI and biotech clients, and held several positions that contributed to Canada's foreign policy and trade interests. Petia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
