Susan McLean is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program operations, venture advisory, and corporate development within the innovation and technology sectors. Currently serving as VP of Program Operations at MaRS Discovery District since February 2016, Susan oversees funding contracts that facilitate services for over 1,400 tech-based startups and growth companies, while focusing on operational effectiveness and impact measurement. Previously, Susan held senior roles at the Ontario Ministry of Research, Innovation and Science and GreenEdge Capital Solutions, offering strategic guidance and managing innovative programs. With a strong educational background including an MSc in Economic Development from the University of London and a CFA designation, Susan McLean has built a distinguished career dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and clean technology development in Canada.
