Minh Trung Tran

Minh Trung Tran has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Minh Trung started their career as a Production Planner at The Cerplex Groups, Inc. In 1997, they joined Canon USA, where they worked as a Service Operations Coordinator and later as a Sr Financial Support Coordinator.

In 2002, Minh Trung Tran joined Beckman Coulter as a Senior Analyst, specializing in financial systems and reporting. Minh Trung then moved to JPMorgan Chase, where they held various roles in Retail Banking Finance, including Manager & Assistant VP, Sr Manager & VP, and Division Financial Officer. Minh Trung was responsible for financial systems, processes, and profit models, as well as finance IT, data governance, and performance measurement.

Minh Trung Tran also worked as an Independent Consultant, serving as a Sr Manager, Information Management and advisor to the CFO. Minh Trung managed information management and business intelligence projects/programs for Finance and Contact Center Services.

At DIRECTV, Minh Trung Tran served as a Sr Manager & Principal Analyst II, leading the Revenue Strategy and Planning group. Minh Trung also worked as an Enterprise Data Architect, leading the end-to-end solution architecture and transformation of BI solutions for a $1-billion business.

Minh Trung Tran then joined Panasonic Avionics Corporation, where they held the roles of Manager and Senior Manager, Global Financial Systems & Data. Minh Trung was responsible for managing global financial systems, data, processes, and P&L models. Minh Trung led the transformation of the EPM platform from IBM Cognos to Oracle Hyperion.

Before their current role at Mars Veterinary Health as the Director of Global Financial Systems & EPM, Minh Trung Tran worked at VCA Animal Hospitals as the Director of Business Systems. Minh Trung led the business systems team and successfully led ERP and EPM transformations.

Throughout their career, Minh Trung Tran has demonstrated their expertise in financial systems, data management, process improvement, and strategic planning. Minh Trung has proven their ability to lead global teams, manage complex projects, and drive successful transformations.

Minh Trung Tran has an MBA with a focus in Finance and MIS from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Business Management from Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics.
