Shelby Shelton

Shelby Shelton is an experienced professional in the fields of climate, sustainable sourcing, and agriculture. Currently serving as the Climate & Sustainable Sourcing Program Manager at Mars since April 2023, Shelby previously managed a cross-disciplinary team at the Environmental Defense Fund from September 2017 to April 2023, focusing on enhancing flooding and water quality in the Mississippi River Basin through natural infrastructure. Prior roles include Project Manager at Datu Research LLC and Specialist in Food & Agriculture at North Carolina State University, where Shelby also completed a Master of Science in Soil Science. Earlier experience includes serving as Communications Manager at the United Fresh Produce Association, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in International Agriculture and Rural Development from Cornell University.
