Dr. Javier Blanco has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position was as the Director at the Bourne Consulting Group, which they founded in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Family Wellness and Program Director at MarSell Wellness Center from 2021 to 2023.
Dr. Blanco also worked at Oak Valley College as an Adjunct Professor from 2018 onwards, and later became the Director of Career Services from 2020 to 2022. Dr. Javier was actively involved in the California State University-San Bernardino, where they served as a board member of the Latino Alumni Association from 2010 to 2022. During their tenure, they also held positions as the Alumni Association Treasurer and Vice President.
In addition, Dr. Blanco worked at the County of Riverside as a Program Supervisor from 2021 to 2021 and in Research and Evaluations from 2019 to 2021. Dr. Javier also gained experience in career development at Soboba Tribal TANF from 2014 to 2019.
Earlier in their career, Dr. Blanco worked in operations management at EMQ FamiliesFirst from 2011 to 2013 and served as the Community Relations Manager at Central City Lutheran Mission from 2009 to 2011.
Dr. Javier Blanco completed their education as follows:
- From 2016 to 2018, they attended California Baptist University and earned a Doctor of Public Administration degree in the field of Public Administration.
- From 2010 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration at California State University-San Bernardino.
- From 2005 to 2010, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Language and Literature, along with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Spanish Communications, all from California State University-San Bernardino.
