Heather Hansen

Heather Hansen is the Founder and Managing Director of Global Speech Academy, established in April 2007, focusing on enhancing collaboration, innovation, and inclusion for multinational companies through effective communication. As a Global Communication Specialist and Pronunciation & Public Speaking Coach, Heather has worked with a wide range of clients, including Chevron, Amazon, and Bayer. In addition to being an author of multiple acclaimed books, such as "Unmuted," which has received several awards, Heather serves as an external communication faculty member at NUS Business School and has been recognized as part of the Thinkers50 Radar Class 2024. Heather's educational background includes a PhD candidacy in Sociolinguistics at Nanyang Technological University, along with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Studies and German from the University of the Pacific.
