Casper Beentjes

Quantitative Researcher at Marshall Wace

Casper Beentjes is a quantitative researcher at Marshall Wace since May 2021, with previous experience as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford from September 2015 to May 2021, focusing on computational stochastics under the supervision of Michael B. Giles. In addition, Casper served as a stipendiary lecturer at Trinity College Oxford from 2019 to 2020 and completed an internship as a quantitative researcher at Oxford Asset Management LLP in mid-2019. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Applied Mathematics (University of Oxford, 2020), a Master of Science in Mathematical Modelling & Scientific Computing (University of Oxford, 2015), and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Mathematics (Leiden University, 2014). Doctoral research was supervised by Ruth E. Baker, with a focus on quantitative biology.
