Stefan Delmarco

Stefan Delmarco has a varied work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Stefan began their career in 1996 as a Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting. From there, they moved to Microsoft in 1999, starting as a SQL Server Senior Support Engineer before progressing to Senior Developer and finally Principal Consultant. In 2005, they joined Barclays Capital as a Software Developer and Consultant. Currently, Stefan is employed at Marshall Wace as a Quantitative Developer, a role they have held since 2007, and as the Global Head of Quant Implementation starting in October 2019.

Stefan Delmarco obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Additionally, they completed several certifications on Coursera, including "Introduction to Deep Learning" in December 2019, "Mathematics for Machine Learning: PCA" in October 2019, "Mathematics for Machine Learning: Multivariate Calculus" in September 2019, and "Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra" in August 2019.
