Mark Finken

Mark Finken has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Mark currently holds the position of Associate Principal at Marshalltown Community School District, starting in July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Waukee Community Schools from 2007 to 2021, where they served as an Advisory Coach from August 2014 to July 2021, and an English Teacher from August 2007 to July 2021. Before joining Waukee Community Schools, Mark worked as a Teacher at Des Moines Public Schools from August 2006 to June 2007.

Mark Finken received their Master of Education - MEd in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Iowa State University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Kansas from 2003 to 2006.
