Andrew Potter

Andrew Potter has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andrew started their career in 2000 as a Communications Manager for the National Association of Concessionaires. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Sports Writer for the Newton Daily News, followed by a role as a Reporter at the Marshalltown Times-Republican from 2007 to 2014. In 2014, they joined the Marshalltown Community School District as the Director of Communications, where they successfully promoted the district and received recognition as the Communicator of the Year. Andrew then transitioned to the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce in 2019, serving as the Tourism Director until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Marketing & Communications Director at the MARSHALLTOWN YMCA-YWCA.

Andrew Potter earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Bradley University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997.
